The ultimate malware killer - Malwarebytes

Computer users that are frequently plagued by viruses, spyware, malware and threats like that usually call tech support if it's a work environment or a tech savvy friend if they're at home. But these days it's very easy to get rid of most of these pesky annoyances yourself. One of the tools that is a must in your arsenal is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

Malwarebytes is basically a free tool that does a better job of getting rid of all sorts of crap from your computer than most commercial security suites. While there is a paid version of Malwarebytes the free version should be more than enough for the majority of malware out there.

Using Malwarebytes is very straightforward, you download and install it like just about any other program, just Next->Next->Next and you're done. After you install and start it you will have an option for scanning, you will need to set it either for a quick or complete scan, after the scan is finished it will list everything it found and considers potentially dangerous to your system. You can select what you want to delete and what you want to keep, and delete the rest. Yes it is that simple, though there are viruses and other threats that it can't always find and delete and requires a human touch but there is no automated software that can find every virus and all malware there are just things that require human insight.

If you're not sure how good it is just take a look at one Malwarebytes review, chances are that it will be positive besides the software is free, you can't really argue with that. If you have doubts try it yourself and see for yourself if you're not satisfied you've only lost a few hours. Just keep in mind that Malwarebytes isn't an antivirus, it is just a tool that scans for malware and other threats that are already present on your computer.
